"Erik
is 110% for little league football and
is the best coach I’ve ever had the
pleasure of coaching with. He has been
an inspiration in my life as well. He
instructs football with a passion,
instills values and discipline of the
game but also in areas of life that all
young men need. I coached with him for
2 years here in Florida and the effects
of his coaching are impacting our JV and
Varsity High School football team right
now in a positive way. Thanks Erik for
all you do!" - Mark Cothran -

"Erik lives and
breathes football. In two hours Erik taught my son more
than he had learned in an entire season of football. He
teaches the details that most people miss in a fun way that
addresses the unique needs of young teens." - John

'My son, Will, has learned an
incredible amount of techniques to help him become a better player. He
has enjoyed the two football camps that he has attended. It is truly a
learning event. And the kids love it. Your child will benefit by the
early jump on things. Especially if they are a newcomer to the sport.
The camp has grown tremendously since inception. Which is a testament
to our growing youth football program. Keep up the great work."
- Russell Moncure - Indian Trail, North Carolina
"Having (almost) gone
through a whole season of Football with Erik and a summer of
training, I can honestly say my son is not only a better
football player but a better athlete in general. He works
harder, complains less, and is more of a team player both on
and off the field. I attribute much of this to the coaching
and training he has had with Erik. My son is a better kid
having gone through this program! Thank You!"

"Our
son Michael has participated in several speed and agility
camps. We have had a wonderful experience with the camps.
Coach Erik does a great job individualizing the activities
for the kids, based on their skills and needs. The camp not
only instructs the kids on proper techniques, but it also
helps them to understand why the new techniques will benefit
them in their sports. The camps are structured so that the
kids learn a lot in each session, but they also do it in a
way that is fun. Michael has learned many techniques he can
use throughout his life to improve his overall fitness. Our
son has increased his fitness level, speed and quickness
very noticeable. He is more confident in his running. We
plan to continue to attend any speed and agility camps in
the future that are sponsored by Union County Sports and
Coach Erik." -

"As a father, I have always
taken a keen interest in the coaching and training my sons
have received. Regarding the speed camp they attended this
past summer, which was put on by Coaches Saunders and
Vagnone, I feel they both gained a great deal of knowledge
concerning first steps, direction of first steps, how to
gain a half step of speed by having the entire body act as
one. Both of my sons previously had not used their arms as
a means to enhance their speed. The coaches showed them how
to make the leap to gaining that half a step or even full
step on their competition. That advantage is huge and makes
this camp well worth the time and effort." -

"My son participated in
2008 he enjoyed the instruction and the coaches made the
experience fun for the kids. Union County Sports used new
techniques to teach fundamentals. The results were
noticeable during the next season. I was impressed by the
professional attitude of the coaches and the way they broke
down the exercises to reach each child and push them to
their potential. I thought the on line performance reviews
were cool too. I would highly recommend the program. My son
will be back this year. Regards" - Brian G. Cook -

"The
agility camp
program is a great value delivering great results! The
speed and agility camp greatly enhanced Brandon 's
conditioning during the off-season. Quite frankly, my hope
for the program was to enable Brandon to maintain his
fitness and weight requirements for the upcoming football
season, but the program exceeded my expectations allowing
him the opportunity to greatly increase his foot quickness
and overall speed. I highly recommend the agility camp and
will be participating again this year!" - Michael
Smith – Indian Trail
"My son is not very athletic
and always wanted to be indoors watching TV or playing video
games. We have tried lots of sports but football has been
his most rewarding. I have seen multiple improvements in
him, both physically and emotionally. He has increased his
running speed; he is more active on a day to day basis; and
is not so quick to give up when something fails or doesn’t
go his way. Slowly Nate’s confidence has built, not just in
football skills, but with school work and everyday
responsibilities and activities. It has been wonderful to
watch my child mature in a short time and I contribute a lot
of that to his participation in the Pop Warner sports
program. Coach Erik helps train the boys for the sport and
relates the training to life lessons. They learn the true
value of teamwork and understanding their part on the team.
He strives to show each child how important they are without
the concentration being on winning or striving to be the
“star” player. The goal taught is to be the best at what
position you are given. With this, the kids get so much
more than just sport training. They learn they each have an
important part in something greater." -

"I think the speed camp
provided by Coach Erik and Coach Mike was great. It not
only gets you faster, but teaches you how to run for speed.
It helps increase your leg strength and stamina. I would
recommend this speed camp to anyone who wants to get
quicker." -
Fred Clark - Jr. Participant - 12 years old
"I think your speed
camp was a great camp. It did get me faster. I learned to
run better and not wobble my arms. I learned to pump my
elbows backward and to punch the air forwards. I learned to
take a step in the direction I am going instead of taking a
step backwards and then going. It was a great camp."
